Hi there!  I'm Tiffany, founder and Interior Decorator at Shell of a House Interiors.

I have always loved decorating ever since I was a little girl. I was always re-arranging my room, furniture and all!  I'm still always decorating and moving things around in my home with the exception of a few pieces of art that just have their perfect forever spot.

Working at the Gaskins Gallery here in Avon, NC for many years I found great enjoyment in picking out art to retail in the shop and loved working with customers picking out mats and frames to go with the artwork. That was when I really found out how much  I enjoyed working with color .

I also have a love for everything vintage and I love sourcing unique coastal pieces and Antique furniture. Mixing in the old with new adds so much character to a home!

I have lived on Hatteras Island my whole life and I'm still in awe of the beauty that surrounds us here on our sandbar. From the colors of our sand, shells, sky and ocean we are surrounded by great colors and those are the colors I like to bring in to the home. Coastal Modern Chic is my absolute favorite decor style!!
